Madison Chic is owned by Beverly and Ron Schubert. Their kids are grown and Beverly was interested in starting a business. So in December of 2007, the doors to Madison Chic opened giving a wide variety of fashion savy clothing lines to both local and visiting people. Madison Chic is located in the Evergreen Plaza on Neff Avenue, next to the Craft House.

Beverly, 57, and Ron, 55, live in Harrisonburg. They have three grown children and two grandchildren.

Ron has been a family doctor for 24 years. He handles the business end, setting up the computers, and various other business related tasks.

Beverly handles the fashion side. She started with an antique booth in Shenandoah Farmer's Market, which she ran for about four years. She had a spot in Rolling Hills Antique Mall. She attended Bryant and Stratton Business Institute (In Buffalo, New York) as a young woman and has always had an interest in fashion.

They have some items like a walnut over-under cabinet and some nice tables but they are using them for display. They are still working on developing the antique side of the business. But most businesses are an evolution.

The Proprietors are Ron and Bev Schubert (also serving as a Co-Manager), and Lorrie Kirk as a Co-Manager.
